There’s something cathartic about deleting things.
I’m not talking about cleaning out your inbox or unfollowing an influencer who just peddles protein shakes and fake humility. I mean scorched-earth deletion. The kind that says, “This chapter is over. Let’s stop pretending otherwise.”
That’s where I am.
I’ve spent years creating content across too many domains, too many accounts, and too many fractured identities. Coaching business here. Hypnosis there. A little biblical truth in one place. Some edgy masculine insight somewhere else. A few alter-egos. And plenty of well-meaning noise.
It’s not that the content wasn’t good—it was.
It’s not that the work didn’t help people—it did.
But somewhere along the way, I lost interest in managing multiple masks just to keep the machine running.
So I’m pulling the plug.
The Pivot
From this point forward, I’m cutting it all down to the bone:
- My personal Facebook page: facebook.com/theshaneclements
- One X account: @shane_clements
- My website: shaneclements.com
- Maybe one YouTube channel, but only if it stays true to the message.
That’s it.
Everything else? Dead weight.
No more fragmented platforms with slightly different bios. No more whispering into different echo chambers hoping each one gets the point. I’ve got one voice—and it’s going to be louder and clearer than ever.
Why the Change?
Because the way we’ve been trained to “show up online” is a hypnotic trance.
Post more. Be more visible. Build a brand. Stay consistent. Be on every platform. Repurpose your content. Optimize your funnel. Curate your vibe. Engage. React. Perform.
It’s all performative.
We’re told it’s “branding” but what it really is… is obedience.
Obedience to algorithms. Obedience to expectations. Obedience to metrics that don’t measure meaning. Obedience to people who don’t give a damn about you when you stop performing.
That’s not freedom. That’s digital slavery.
And I’m done with it.
I’m not interested in optimizing anymore.
I’m interested in living.
I’m interested in impact.
And I’m interested in leaving a legacy, not a brand.
Branding Is Dead. Long Live Meaning.
You know what “branding” has become?
A costume.
A filtered projection of who you want people to think you are, polished just enough to feel inspiring but not so real that it makes anyone uncomfortable. It’s paint-by-numbers identity. It’s massaged vulnerability. It’s ego with a Canva template.
What I’m after now is Anti-Branding.
The real me.
Raw. Rugged. Unpolished. Unapologetic.
If I help someone, great.
If I offend someone, also great.
Because at least it was real.
That’s what Anti-Branding is about. Saying something that matters, even if it doesn’t scale. Doing the work, even if no one claps. Living your damn truth, not renting your integrity for attention.
If you’re still trying to please everyone, you’re already hypnotized.
The Hidden Cost of Being “Everywhere”
Let me tell you something the social media experts won’t:
Being everywhere doesn’t make you effective. It makes you scattered.
It spreads your energy thin. It confuses your message. It exhausts your soul.
I had accounts that were still technically active—some even with a decent following—but the moment I thought about logging in, it felt like dragging a corpse around.
That’s not mission. That’s maintenance.
And the more plates you spin, the more you start to spin yourself into a blur. I don’t want blur. I want clarity.
So I’m consolidating.
And when I say “consolidating,” I don’t mean repackaging. I mean full demolition. Controlled burn. Salvage what matters, and let the rest rot.
What You Can Expect Now
No fluff. No feed-filler. No watered-down inspirational jargon.
What you’re going to see from me moving forward is this:
1. One Voice Across All Platforms
Whether you’re on Facebook, X, or reading a post on my site, it’s me. One voice. One mission. No costume changes.
The tone? Direct. Honest. Sometimes sarcastic. Always intentional.
If something challenges your worldview, good.
If it makes you think deeper, better.
If it calls you up instead of coddling your mediocrity, perfect.
2. Masculinity, Meaning, and Mental Strength
My content is going to keep centering around the things that actually matter:
- Unhypnotizing men from the lies that keep them passive, nice, and neutered
- Mental discipline and emotional leadership (especially for those who feel like their emotions have run the show long enough)
- Faith that has a spine, not just a bumper sticker
- Legacy work—because I don’t want to die with good ideas that never got passed on
I’m not here to entertain. I’m here to equip.
And if you’re someone tired of soft sermons, fake smiles, and the chronic numbness of a performative life—I’m talking to you.
3. Some Posts Will Hit. Some Will Sting.
You won’t agree with everything I say. You’re not supposed to.
If I only say things you nod along with, I’m probably just preaching to your ego. And your ego’s not the one I’m trying to set free.
Truth should feel like both a mirror and a machete.
It should show you yourself—and then cut away what doesn’t belong.
You’ll see more stories, more practical tools, and more realness.
But don’t expect fluff. I won’t hand you feathers when what you need is fire.
What I’m Letting Go Of
Let’s get real specific:
- No more carefully crafted coaching brand identities.
- No more splinter accounts trying to speak to every demographic.
- No more chasing viral trends for attention.
- No more smiling for the camera when I’d rather speak truth to a microphone.
- No more filtering messages to avoid offending strangers who wouldn’t even show up to my funeral.
I’m tired of the pressure to make everything “branded,” “on message,” or “palatable.”
I don’t need palatable.
I need potent.
If you want someone to tell you what you want to hear, you’ll find thousands of creators doing that for likes.
If you want someone to tell you what you need to hear—follow along. You’re in the right place.
What This Means for You
If you’ve followed me from one brand to another, one message to another, and you’re still here—thank you.
Here’s what’s going to happen now:
- You’ll know exactly where to find me.
No guessing. If it’s not Facebook, X, my site, or YouTube (maybe), it’s not me. If I write or say something, it’ll be in one of those places. - You’ll get stronger, not softer.
My content is focused on building inner fortitude, not emotional co-dependence. The world has enough soft therapists. I’m not one of them. - You’ll hear more truth and less noise.
Fewer posts, but each one will mean something. Not everything will be a dopamine drip. Some of it will sting. That’s the point. - You’ll be invited to lead, not follow.
Whether it’s your home, your marriage, your spiritual life, or your business—I’m not here to make you comfortable. I’m here to push you into a kind of leadership that costs something and means something.
So, listen…
If you’re building something that matters, stop wasting time trying to please people who don’t.
That’s the biggest reason I’m doing this.
I’ve spent years helping people break negative trances—and I finally realized that my own digital life had become one.
The trance of “stay active on every platform.”
The trance of “build multiple brands to reach different audiences.”
The trance of “grow your following to grow your impact.”
It’s all a lie.
Impact doesn’t come from expansion.
It comes from alignment.
And from now on, everything I say, do, write, or post will flow from one clear source. No more scattered signals. No more brand juggling. Just one man, one message, and one mission:
Help people wake up.
So if you’re still here—welcome to the real work.
Let’s build a legacy together.
But don’t expect a logo.
Expect fire.
