It’s National Writing Day and we need to hear from you.
We need you.
We need you to write.
We need to read your posts, your stories, your books.
We need to read your blog, your how-to tips, your lists of things, your daily thoughts, your rants and ramblings, read your tweets on Twitter, and your posts on Facebook.
Why, you ask?
You have ideas.
You have opinions.
You have beliefs.
You have a viewpoint.
You have information others want and need.
You have a story that only you can tell.
No other person has the ideas, opinions, beliefs, information, or story that you have. They are exclusive to you. Don’t keep them to yourself.
You need a place to broadcast your story, and in this technological age we are in, things couldn’t be easier with the help of WordPress, Blogger, Facebook, Twitter, Medium, and the like.
The world wide web has made it possible for revolutionist and activist to have their passions displayed and their voices heard.
The information highway has made the housewife with great organizational skills, the auto mechanic with an awesome fuel saving tip, and a college student with a knack for writing short stories the leaders and influencers that are making a difference.
You can make a difference too.
Speak up and speak out.
Don’t worry about the folks that don’t want to hear you. If folks like what you have to say, they will stick around and get in on the dialogue. If they don’t like what you are saying, they won’t stick around very long.
Also, don’t worry or waste your time with the harsh critics that may pop up from time to time. They are out there and seem to always be looking for a fight. Don’t give them the satisfaction.
Focus on your story, your passion, and those that want to hear it.
Speak up, we can’t hear you.
We need you.
We need you to write.
And, we want to read your story.
