20 Years from Now, You’ll Wish You Were This Age: The Importance of Mindfulness for Health and Happiness

Oh boy, let me tell you about being mindful! Have you ever stopped to think about how crazy it is that we’re alive right now, in this very moment? I mean, think about it – there are so many things that had to happen just perfectly for us to be here, right now, reading this sentence.

And that’s where mindfulness comes in. Being mindful means being fully present in the moment and appreciating everything around you. It means taking a deep breath and realizing that, hey, maybe things aren’t perfect, but right now, in this moment, you’re alive and healthy and that’s pretty damn amazing.

So when you think about it like that, it’s no wonder that in 20 years, you’d give anything to be exactly where you are right now. I mean, sure, you might have a few more wrinkles and maybe your metabolism won’t be as fast, but the fact that you’re healthy and alive and able to enjoy all the little things in life – that’s priceless.

So take a moment right now to be mindful. Look around you, take a deep breath, and appreciate everything that’s going on in your life. Because in 20 years, you’ll look back and wish you had appreciated it just a little bit more.
